MachJet International, based on the Sunshine Coast, has inducted a second Cessna Citation Jet 4 into its fleet to address increasing charter demand across Australia and internationally, according to company reports. The 2014-built Citation Jet 4, registered in Australia as VH-IPY, features a configuration for up to nine passengers and was previously operated privately out of Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, Switzerland.

The aircraft, MSN 525C-0153, remained active until December 2025 and recently completed a round trip from Zurich and London Stansted before arriving at its base in Sunshine Coast. The company highlighted the aircraft’s performance, range, payload, and operational efficiency as key reasons for expansion, emphasizing its suitability for both domestic and international charter services.

MachJet operates two Citation Jets, a Citation Jet 2, and a Challenger 605, along with five King Air B200 twin turboprops. The company’s fleet decisions are guided by ongoing assessment of opportunities that align with client requirements, with plans for future additions remaining undisclosed. The company has also built a new hangar and runs an FBO at Sunshine Coast to support its operations.

In addition to its fleet, MachJet has expanded its facilities, including new hangar construction completed in late 2025, to support growing demand for its private jet and charter services. The company’s strategic investments aim to strengthen its position in the regional market and serve the increasing needs of corporate and leisure clients across Australia and beyond.
