Myanmar National Airlines has resumed passenger services using the Let 410 aircraft from its main base in Yangon. The airline restarted flights to remote regions in Rakhine State and Tanintharyi Region, including routes connecting Yangon with Manaung, Kyaukpyu, Myeik, Bokepyin, and Kawthaung. These services commenced on April 24, 2026, as part of the airline's efforts to improve regional connectivity.
The airline operates a fleet of 10 aircraft, supporting 11 daily flights across 13 destinations. The fleet primarily consists of scheduled carrier aircraft based in Yangon, serving both domestic and regional markets within Myanmar. This strategic expansion aims to enhance transportation links to underserved areas, facilitating economic and social development.
Officials from Myanmar National Airlines emphasized their commitment to maintaining and expanding their route network to better serve local communities and regional travelers. The aircraft used include the Let 410, which has proven effective for routes requiring short takeoff and landing capabilities in challenging terrains, reinforcing the airline's focus on regional service resilience and accessibility.
