BlueFive Capital has announced the launch of BlueFive Leasing, a new platform dedicated to aircraft leasing and asset management based in Muscat, Oman. The initiative aims to bolster the Gulf region’s participation in global aviation finance by providing airlines with greater access to capital and offering institutional investors exposure to commercial aircraft assets.

The platform was established through a partnership with Oman’s sovereign institutions and plans to raise over $1 billion via its first investment vehicle, BlueFive Wings Fund I. This fund will focus on financing commercial aircraft and comes at a time of significant growth in air travel across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, where fleets are being modernized and routes expanded.

Hazem Ben-Gacem, the founder and CEO of BlueFive Capital, stated that the launch is a strategic move to extend regional participation in the aviation value chain and diversify investments. He emphasized that the platform’s strong capital base and experienced team position it well to capitalize on market opportunities amid evolving industry trends.

The company’s Muscat office opened six months prior, signaling its ongoing commitment to regional development and investment in the aviation sector.
