This achievement marks their fifth victory in the prestigious annual awards. Luis Gallego, CEO of IAG and oneworld Chairman, expressed that the award reflects the alliance’s dedication to creating a connected and rewarding travel experience for passengers across the globe.
The Skytrax awards are determined through comprehensive customer surveys, involving millions of travelers who evaluate their experiences with airlines and airports worldwide. Ole Orver, CEO of oneworld, emphasized that this recognition underscores the alliance's commitment to excellence, including premium services such as First Class lounge access, and its leadership in customer loyalty and sustainability initiatives.
Oneworld comprises 15 member airlines, including Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, and Royal Jordanian. These carriers serve approximately 1,000 destinations globally, uniting their networks under a rewardingly high service standard.
