Philippine Airlines has announced the extension of its support partnership with Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS), covering its fleet of A350, A330, and A320 aircraft. The move, formalized on February 5, 2026, aims to enhance fleet availability, operational reliability, and cost management through comprehensive component support, including exchanges, repairs, and engineering services.
The agreement now supports nine Airbus A350-1000s, eleven A330s, and forty-three A320 family aircraft, with on-site stock located at the airline's main base in Manila. Airbus officials expressed gratitude for the airline's continued trust, emphasizing their shared commitment to operational excellence. "This long-standing partnership demonstrates our dedication to delivering reliable support tailored to Philippine Airlines' needs," a company spokesperson said.
Supporting its growth trajectory, Philippine Airlines recently added five Airbus A320 aircraft on December 3, 2025, and signed a leaseback agreement with BOC Aviation to facilitate expansion. The airline's relationship with Airbus FHS started in 2018, initially supporting the A350-900 fleet, and expanded in 2022 to include the A320 and A330 fleets.
Airbus regional head Anand Stanley highlighted that providing comprehensive, predictable maintenance solutions enables Philippine Airlines to optimize performance and operational costs. This extended support underscores the airline's confidence in Airbus's maintenance capabilities and its commitment to long-term fleet management.
