Philippine Airlines has been recognized as the most punctual airline in the Asia-Pacific region for the year 2025. According to a report by Cirium, a London-based travel data analytics firm, Philippine Airlines achieved an on-time performance rate of 83.12%.
The airline's impressive punctuality placed it ahead of other major carriers including Air New Zealand and Japan’s All Nippon Airways, with Singapore Airlines ranking fourth in the performance list. Cirium's measurement considers a flight 'on time' if it arrives or departs within approximately 15 minutes of its scheduled time, based on data from more than 600 sources worldwide.
Japan Airlines was the most punctual carrier in the previous year, 2024. Philippine Airlines, established in 1941, is known as the oldest operating commercial airline in Asia and primarily operates international flights across Asia, North America, and Oceania, along with several domestic routes.
