Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a leading provider of airport hospitality experiences, has inaugurated its first independent domestic airport lounge in Australia at Adelaide Airport. The Plaza Premium Lounge Domestic Adelaide, located in the Domestic Departures area, offers travelers enhanced comfort and convenience within the terminal. The lounge features regional-inspired design elements, promoting a relaxing atmosphere with flexible seating, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a locally curated menu that showcases South Australian flavors, including local wines and seasonal dishes.
In addition to its new lounge, PPG announced the opening of Aerotel Madrid, a landside airport hotel situated within Terminal 4 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. This expansion marks the hotel chain’s first presence in Europe and continues its global growth, with properties now in major airports across London, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Cebu, Qingdao, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Muscat, Jeddah, and Shanghai. Aerotel Madrid offers transiting passengers flexible hour-based bookings, providing a comfortable haven for rest and refreshment without leaving the airport.
The developments underscore Plaza Premium Group's commitment to elevating the airport experience for travelers, combining luxury, convenience, and regional authenticity. As domestic and international travel volumes grow, these new facilities aim to meet increasing passenger demands for quality amenities and seamless service within major transportation hubs.
