Porter Airlines has achieved a significant milestone with the delivery of its 50th E195-E2 aircraft, representing a major step in its fleet expansion and international market growth. The airline's substantial order includes 75 aircraft with options for 25 more, potentially increasing its fleet to 100 jets. This expansion facilitates the addition of new routes within Canada and to destinations across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
Michael Deluce, President and CEO of Porter Airlines, stated that integrating the E195-E2 into their fleet aligns with the company's focus on delivering a superior passenger experience. The aircraft is celebrated for its operational efficiency, passenger comfort—including onboard Wi-Fi and the absence of middle seats—and its environmental benefits. This aligns with Porter’s strategic goal to offer high-quality service while expanding its reach.
