On October 7, 2026, PearlQ Software and Network Solutions, based in Doha, Qatar, alongside US-based RAero LLC, announced the formation of a joint venture aimed at expanding aviation training capacities across Qatar and the Middle East. The initiative intends to leverage PearlQ's technological infrastructure and local expertise with RAero's digital courseware, focusing on various sectors including commercial, military, and emerging eVTOL aircraft training.

This collaboration is targeting the development of digital aviation training platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and localized Arabic content, supporting not only airline training but also corporate and military aviation sectors. Leadership from both companies emphasized the project’s alignment with Qatar's Vision 2030, aiming at technology transfer, capacity building, and workforce development.

Strategic Focus and Capabilities

As part of the joint venture's initial efforts, contributions from PearlQ include software and delivery capabilities, whereas RAero provides its advanced aviation training platforms, including simulation and XR/VR familiarization tools. The partnership aims to foster technology adoption, human capital development, and knowledge transfer in the region.

"This partnership marks a significant step in providing localized, technologically advanced aviation training solutions in Qatar," said H.E. Sheikh Abdulla Khalifa F M Al-Thani, Chairman of PearlQ. Additionally, Brent Birdwell, CEO of RAero, highlighted that the joint venture will support diverse aviation training sectors beyond traditional pilot instruction.

RAero launched its comprehensive aviation training platform in 2026, supporting aircraft such as Airbus A320, A330, A350, Boeing 737, 757, 767, 777, 787, and Embraer E170/E195, integrating computer-based, WebXR, and interactive training modules.

The collaboration also seeks to contribute toward Qatar’s broader goal of developing its aviation industry and workforce, supporting emerging aircraft types like eVTOLs, and ensuring Arabic-language content availability. The partnership’s leadership team comprises prominent officials from both companies dedicated to advancing these objectives.
