Ramco Systems, a provider of enterprise aviation software, has announced the deployment of its next-generation aviation solutions at Powerhouse Engines, a South Florida-based company specializing in jet engine leasing, trading, and MRO services for CFM56 engines.
The new software will enable comprehensive, end-to-end lifecycle management for Powerhouse Engines’ engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations. This implementation aims to enhance resource utilization and support data-driven decision-making as the company prepares for future growth.
Under the agreement, Powerhouse Engines will utilize Ramco’s integrated modules covering engineering, airworthiness management, configuration control, service bulletin handling, task management, and maintenance planning. The solution also spans engine and shop maintenance, MRO contracting, finance, and quality, providing a unified platform for operational and commercial processes.
The deployment is expected to improve inventory management, purchasing, and cost tracking. It will also streamline subcontracting and third-party repairs to increase overall MRO efficiency. Additionally, Powerhouse Engines will leverage Ramco's digital tools including mobile apps and dashboards to support a transition towards paperless workflows, offering real-time tracking of parts, inventory, repair orders, and related documents, thereby accelerating engine overhaul processes.
Eric Engdahl, CEO of Powerhouse Engines, stated that the industry’s rapid evolution necessitated partnerships that can scale confidently. He emphasized Ramco’s cutting-edge technology and proven track record as critical factors. Manoj Kumar Singh of Ramco highlighted the platform’s capabilities to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization while maintaining safety standards. The collaboration aims to further transform Powerhouse Engines’ operations and support its market leadership in engine MRO services.
