Rolls-Royce's commercial aftermarket division reported a significant increase in revenue for 2025, reaching £7.2 billion ($9.7 billion). This growth was driven by an increase in shop visits for large engines, which rose to 517 inductions, reflecting a resilient market despite ongoing supply chain challenges.

The company highlighted the importance of expanded capacity, investing in its global MRO network across Derby, Dahlewitz, and Singapore, supporting over a 50% rise in large-engine shop visits over three years. Future plans include a 20% network increase to meet growing fleet demands. Additionally, the firm launched new durability packages for the Trent 1000, aiming to reduce long-term maintenance needs, with projections of 1,300 to 1,400 shop visits annually by 2028.

Supply Constraints and Capacity Expansion

While engine deliveries declined to 259 units in 2025 due to supply chain constraints, the company maintained its focus on expanding global capacity. It partnered with Beijing Aero Engine Services Ltd. to support up to 250 engine overhauls annually by the mid-2030s and announced a new maintenance facility in Istanbul in collaboration with Turkish Technic, expected to service up to 200 engines per year starting in late 2027.

Overall, despite supply chain disruptions, Rolls-Royce demonstrated robust aftermarket growth, reinforced by strategic investments and new service offerings, positioning itself for sustained future expansion.
