Rotortrade has successfully delivered a Leonardo AW119Ke helicopter to Aeromaster Airways in Ecuador, bolstering the country's capabilities in VIP and emergency medical services. The aircraft, manufactured in 2010, was previously operated by the South African Red Cross Air Mercy Service as an EMS platform. Its transition to Ecuador involved comprehensive technical inspections, preparations, and logistics coordination to ensure seamless delivery from Africa to Latin America.
According to Raymond Lubrano, EVP Head of Region LATAM at Rotortrade, this deal demonstrates the company's strong regional network and commitment to operational excellence. Latin America continues to see rising demand for EMS helicopters, and Rotortrade’s capacity to facilitate cross-continental aircraft movement strengthens its position in the market.
