Rotortrade, a prominent helicopter dealership, has announced the sale of an Airbus AS365 N3 Dauphin helicopter to AMAN Aviation, an Indian operator specializing in chartered flights and aerial tours. The aircraft, previously owned and sold to a Cambodian operator in 2017, was transported from Malaysia to India in September 2025. The transaction was officially announced at the Dubai Air Show 2025, highlighting Rotortrade’s capacity to manage aircraft throughout their lifecycles in various regulatory and operational contexts.
According to Aurélien Blanc, Head of Region APAC, MEA & Africa at Rotortrade, this sale exemplifies their expertise in rehoming aircraft across multiple jurisdictions. Blanc emphasized that re-selling an aircraft sold over eight years ago underscores the company’s extensive network, technical skill, and disciplined execution. The aircraft's journey from Europe to Cambodia and now India showcases Rotortrade’s capability in managing complex international transactions.
The Dubai Air Show provides an important platform for such transactions, supporting Rotortrade’s continued role in global aircraft re-sale and delivery services. AMAN Aviation's acquisition of this aircraft aligns with its strategic goal to expand its fleet for chartered and aerial tour services within India, leveraging aircraft that Rotortrade manages and facilitates across different regions.
