Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is moving forward with its ambitious expansion plans for 2026. The airline announced the launch of several new direct routes from its Casablanca hub, targeting destinations across Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Beginning in April 2026, travelers will be able to fly directly to Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo, Tripoli in Libya, Beirut in Lebanon, as well as Alicante and Bilbao in Spain. A further route to Palma de Mallorca will begin in June, alongside a new service to Verona, Italy, starting June 20, 2026.

According to RAM CEO Hamid Addou, these route expansions reflect the airline's long-term growth ambitions. Since 2023, RAM has increased its fleet with approximately ten new aircraft, expanded flight frequencies, and introduced nearly twenty international routes. The upcoming year will see at least ten more routes, bolstering Morocco’s connectivity with major cities world-wide and supporting its economic and tourism sectors.

These plans build on previous announcements, including the January 2026 launch of flights to St. Petersburg, Russia, and a non-stop Casablanca–Los Angeles route scheduled for June 7, 2026. The Los Angeles service, operated three times weekly using Boeing 787 aircraft, will take about 12 hours. RAM also intends to increase frequencies on other important long-haul routes, such as São Paulo, Miami, Washington, and Dubai. To facilitate this growth, the airline aims to introduce new aircraft with upgraded cabins, part of its fleet expansion goal to reach around 200 planes by 2037.
