Royal Air Maroc has entered a strategic partnership with aerospace technology firm Thales to implement advanced digital aviation solutions, supporting the airline’s ambitious fleet expansion to 200 aircraft by 2037. The collaboration includes deploying Thales’ AvioBook Flight Electronic Flight Bag platform, a software designed to streamline flight operations before, during, and after flights, thereby enhancing safety, compliance, and efficiency.
The AvioBook platform is anticipated to reduce aircraft turnaround times and improve operational resilience, integrating seamlessly with back-office systems. Developed over more than ten years, the software is currently used by over 70 airlines globally. This initiative signifies a significant step in the airline’s modernization efforts as it aims to strengthen its market position.
