Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Morocco’s national airline, is set to become the first airline in Africa to offer in-flight internet via Starlink, a satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX. The carrier has announced that the service will be introduced progressively across its fleet of 41 aircraft starting in early 2027, aiming to provide passengers with high-speed connectivity during flights.

Esteemed aviation journalist Ella Nethersole stated that this project marks a significant technological advancement for African airlines, enabling RAM to elevate passenger experience and operational efficiency. Once operational, the service will enable in-flight communication, entertainment access, and work connectivity.
