Royal Brunei Airlines has announced the launch of RB SkyConnect, its new inflight Wi-Fi service. Powered by the satellite provider SES, the system is set to be operational starting November 18, 2025. The service employs SES's multi-orbit satellite system, which connects to geostationary and low earth orbit satellites to ensure stable and uninterrupted connection throughout the airline's route network.

The deployment features SES’s electronically steered array antenna, which offers high reliability and performance. The first installation was completed on an Airbus A320neo aircraft within Brunei, managed by the airline’s engineering team with SES’s support. The airline plans to install the system across its entire A320neo fleet by May 2026, significantly enhancing the onboard connectivity experience for passengers.
