Ryanair is finalizing its winter season schedule, beginning October 25, with preliminary adjustments already underway. The airline plans to increase flight frequencies on several routes from Zagreb and is modifying its Dubrovnik operations, moving some destinations to year-round services and discontinuing others due to performance issues.
At Dubrovnik Airport, Ryanair will upgrade its routes to Krakow and Dublin from seasonal to year-round services, each maintained with twice-weekly flights. These replacements for Vienna and Charleroi follow a lackluster winter season in 2025/26, with Dubrovnik Airport expressing satisfaction with Ryanair's impact during the pre- and post-season periods. The airline's increased operations are part of a broader strategy to enhance connectivity during winter, reflecting a focus on popular destinations.
In Zagreb, Ryanair is boosting frequencies significantly. The London Stansted route will operate thirteen times per week, up from ten, with daily flights except Thursdays. Malta will see an increase from daily to nine weekly flights, with two daily rotations on Mondays and Fridays. The airline will also add an extra flight to Weeze, Malaga, and Bergamo, raising each to five weekly departures. Dublin services will rise from five to six weekly flights, including two daily flights on Saturdays, with Beauvais increasing to three weekly flights.
Unlike previous seasons, Ryanair does not plan to reduce flight frequencies to Zagreb in February, resulting in an estimated eighteen additional weekly flights during that month. Notably, the airline has decided to stop serving Thessaloniki from Zagreb due to high airport fees, leading to the closure of its base there. It will also discontinue services to Hahn and Pisa, which were only operated until March.
Aircraft deployment will see increased use of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, replacing some Boeing 737-800 operations. The MAX aircraft are expected to operate approximately 160 more flights over the winter compared to last year. The existing Airbus A320 fleet will continue to serve the majority of routes, maintaining utilization levels similar to the previous winter.
Further adjustments to Ryanair’s Croatian network remain possible as the airline continues to optimize its winter schedule.
