Sabre, a leading travel technology provider, has introduced a comprehensive new platform named Sabre Mosaic, which leverages artificial intelligence to modernize its infrastructure. This initiative aims to replace outdated legacy systems with a scalable, open, cloud-native architecture designed for rapid deployment, resilience, and future scalability.
The platform is powered by Google Gemini and utilizes Sabre’s extensive Travel Data Cloud, containing over 50 petabytes of compliant and contextualized data. Sabre has also rolled out agentic-ready APIs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling autonomous workflows and sophisticated orchestration within enterprise environments.
Strategic Transformation and Industry Support
This technological overhaul was achieved without compromising financial stability, thanks to disciplined debt management and strategic portfolio actions. The unified platform aims to act as a backbone for upcoming travel innovations, supporting startups and established partners with shared tools, governance, and data integration.
"We redesigned Sabre’s technical foundations to deliver durable differentiation in AI and to give partners a system they can rely on as their needs scale," said Garry Wiseman, President of Product and Engineering.
Wiseman highlighted that the combination of architecture, data infrastructure, and embedded governance will foster faster, more confident innovation as the travel sector moves into a new era characterized by AI-driven solutions.
