Sheremetyevo Airport, Moscow's largest aviation facility, is set to implement an increase in its service fees starting in January 2026, according to reports. The airport plans to raise charges for security, terminal, and landing and takeoff services by 10% for Russian airlines such as Aeroflot, Rossiya, and Pobeda, and by 3% for foreign carriers. Passenger service fees for both domestic and international flights are also scheduled to increase by 10%.

This move aligns with similar adjustments at other Moscow airports, including Vnukovo and Domodedovo, which have also raised their tariffs recently. Sheremetyevo has experienced notable growth in passenger numbers, handling 36.6 million passengers in 2023—a 29% increase from the previous year—and approximately 43.7 million passengers in 2024, reflecting a continued upward trend in air traffic for the hub.
