Simtech Aviation, a Dublin-based simulator-focused pilot training provider, recently strengthened its partnerships within the UK by visiting its partner schools Aeros and Aviation Southwest. The visits aimed to support students in advanced stages of their commercial pilot training and included insights from Wizz Air representatives, who briefed students on airline recruitment pathways.

At Aeros, Wizz Air shared guidance on cadet and First Officer entry pathways, setting expectations for prospective applicants. Meanwhile, at Aviation Southwest, First Officer Joshua Funnell provided guidance on APS MCC training and transitioning from flight school to a European low-cost carrier cockpit. These engagements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance pilot training pipelines.

Simtech Aviation also announced a new partnership with Aviation Southwest to offer APS MCC and Dual APS MCC courses for graduating pilots, further solidifying the connection between modular training and airline readiness. These initiatives support European Airline Training Organizations with structured programs aligned to industry standards.

Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Simtech Aviation remains a critical player in European pilot training, with specialized offerings including simulator-based training, Type Rating support, and airline readiness programs. The company emphasizes fostering effective pathways from pilot training to airline careers, supporting the evolving needs of the industry.
