Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced the extension of flight cancellations between Singapore and Dubai until March 28, citing continuing unrest in the Middle East as the cause. The airline initially canceled a series of flights from late February to early March following strikes on targets in Iran by the US and Israel.

In addition to Dubai, Scoot, SIA's low-cost airline, has canceled flights to Jeddah through March 17 due to similar geopolitical tensions. Passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to update their contact information and subscribe for notifications regarding their flight status.

Passenger Assistance and Alternatives

Singapore Airlines stated that travelers impacted by the cancellations will be either rebooked on alternative flights or entitled to refunds for the unused portion of their tickets. Those booked through travel agents or partner airlines should contact those entities directly for assistance.

The airline emphasized that these measures are temporary and aimed at ensuring passenger safety amid ongoing regional unrest. No resumption date beyond March has been announced, and travelers are encouraged to monitor official updates for future developments.
