Singapore is hosting its first community aviation career fair, offering over 2,000 job opportunities across 18 companies in the sector. The event is scheduled to take place at Heartbeat@Bedok on February 28 and March 1, providing a platform for managerial, executive, and operational roles within the aviation industry.

Participants include major employers such as Changi Airport Group, SATS, SIA Engineering, GE Aerospace, and Scoot. Notably, ten companies will conduct on-site interviews, enabling faster hiring processes for suitable candidates. The fair is organized as part of the East Coast GRC’s year-long East Side Best Careers initiative, jointly by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).

Interactive Activities and Support Services

Beyond job vacancies, the event will feature aviation-themed activities like virtual reality experiences and flight simulators aimed at engaging families. Job seekers can register on-site or online via this link. e2i will also provide personalized career coaching to help job seekers refine their employment search strategy.

Educational and training organizations, including flight academies and lifelong learning providers, will set up booths to assist with skills development. The initiative reflects Singapore’s efforts to expand and develop its aviation workforce amid ongoing technological transformation and automation within the sector.
