United States-based fractional aircraft ownership company BOND has successfully secured USD44 million in new funding. The investment was made by a group of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, with the minimum stake being USD500,000, including commitments for flying hours. This capital injection comes after USD320 million in preferred equity and debt led by credit funds and managed by the global investment firm KKR, along with USD30 million in equity from the company's founding partners.

During the 2025 NBAA-BACE conference, BOND was identified as the customer responsible for an order with Bombardier Business Aircraft for fifty Challenger 3500 and Global 6500 jets. The order also includes options for an additional 70 aircraft within the Challenger and Global series, such as the Global 8000. The company has announced plans to commence operations in early 2027, signaling its aggressive growth strategy in the business jet market.

This development highlights the increasing interest in fractional ownership models among high-net-worth individuals seeking flexibility and efficiency in managing their aircraft assets. The company's strategic partnership with Bombardier underscores its commitment to offering modern, long-range jets tailored to private client needs.
