Police have apprehended a man suspected of fatally stabbing an airline pilot in Busan. The suspect, in his 50s and surnamed Kim, was taken into custody after the incident early on March 17 at an apartment in Busan. The victim was a former colleague, and the suspect reportedly began planning the crime three years prior, intending to kill four people.
According to police sources, shortly after the murder, Kim visited another former colleague's residence in Changwon to attempt an attack, but the attempt failed. Additionally, on the day before his arrest, he allegedly tried to strangle and kill another former pilot colleague in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, before fleeing.
