Symbiotics, a UK-based provider of aviation psychometric assessments, visited US Aviation Academy’s headquarters in Denton, Texas, on September 21, 2026. The visit aimed to strengthen their engagement with the US pilot training market and to assess the academy's facilities and operations. The US Aviation Academy, celebrating 20 years under its current ownership, has grown significantly and now encompasses eleven flight campuses and five aircraft maintenance training centers, managing a fleet of over 140 aircraft.
Following their participation at the University Aviation Association conference in Texas earlier in September, Symbiotics representatives Hannah Davies and Mariah Saffrey toured the Denton facility, gaining insight into its training programs. The conference allowed the company to showcase its ADAPT platform, which offers psychometric and aptitude assessments tailored for aviation personnel recruitment and development. Currently, the platform conducts more than 150,000 assessments annually across over 130 locations in more than 80 countries.
The Denton operation supports a broad spectrum of pilot training initiatives, including civilian, collegiate, and military programs. Notably, in January 2026, US Aviation Academy announced a US Air Force contract valued at up to US$835 million, covering initial pilot training across several US military bases.
Symbiotics, with over 30 years of experience, provides assessment solutions that cover personality, cognitive reasoning, aviation knowledge, and crew resource management. Its platform is utilized worldwide by airlines and training institutions to streamline personnel selection and enhance human performance in aviation contexts.
