The recognition was announced during the Cassiopée Users Conference 2025 in Paris, an event that gathered industry experts to discuss advancements in flight data analysis and safety measures.
Since the 1960s, TAP has been a pioneer in using recorded flight data proactively to improve safety, operational efficiency, and risk management. The airline’s early and sustained investments in platforms such as Safran’s Cassiopée Alpha demonstrate its commitment to data-driven safety practices. The conference also showcased TAP’s technical contributions, including research on GNSS interference and turbulence measurement, reflecting its active role in shaping industry standards.
Representatives from TAP highlighted the importance of continuous innovation and collaboration with global industry partners to maintain safety excellence. The recognition from Airline Ratings, including a Seven-Star Safety Rating since 2013 and a top safety ranking in 2025, solidifies TAP’s reputation as a leading airline committed to safeguarding passengers and crew through data and safety innovation.
