Uzbekistan has officially designated Tashkent-Humo International Airport (UZTP/TVT) as the country’s dedicated gateway for business aviation operations. This move simplifies flight procedures for charter operators, who since February 17, 2026, are required to file Tashkent-Humo as the destination for their flights, replacing the main Tashkent International Airport (UZTT/TAS).
The airport has been developed to support business aviation by offering a controlled environment without scheduled passenger services. It features dedicated access roads and a separate layout from the main passenger terminals, allowing flight crews to operate efficiently without transit through commercial areas. The transfer time from Tashkent-Humo to the city center is approximately 25–30 minutes.
Strategic and Operational Significance
Gaipov Shukurjon Umarovich, director of Tashkent-Humo International Airport, emphasized that this development marks a strategic milestone for Uzbekistan’s aviation sector, aiming to enhance operational efficiency, privacy, and service quality to align with international standards.
Supporting this initiative, trip support provider FCG OPS has stationed a dedicated supervisor at Tashkent-Humo to oversee ground handling, permits, fueling, and operational logistics. Sergey Starkov, CEO of FCG OPS, noted that this designation is a reflection of Uzbekistan’s evolving market for business aviation and underlines the commitment to seamless service transition for operators.
