Intercontinental Aviation Academy (IAA) and SolitAir have formed a strategic partnership to introduce the SolitAir Mentor Programme, targeted at providing comprehensive mentorship and airline development opportunities for pilot cadets in the UAE. The initiative aims to closely align pilot training with airline operational standards and expectations, with a joint assessment conducted at the program's conclusion.
Cadets participating in the program will engage in mentorship from SolitAir, gaining insights into airline operations, safety cultures, and emerging technologies. The program is offered to students enrolled in the EASA and GCAA ICAO ATPL integrated pathways, particularly targeting cadet batches ending in September 2025 and January 2026. During the program, cadets will receive progress reports at key milestones, including ground school completion and flight training phases.
The collaboration seeks to bridge the transition from pilot education to airline employment, offering pathways to simulator sessions, type-rating, and potential employment opportunities with partners of IAA. By fostering industry-ready pilots, this partnership underscores the UAE's commitment to developing its aviation workforce amidst regional growth in air travel and airline operations.
