Veryon, a prominent provider of aviation information services and software, has acquired EBIS from Tronair, marking a significant step to bolster its offerings in aircraft maintenance and ground support management. The integration of EBIS’s industry-leading software will allow Veryon to deliver comprehensive solutions for both business and commercial aviation sectors worldwide.

The acquisition provides Veryon with advanced ground support equipment (GSE) asset management and maintenance management capabilities, which are widely used by Part 145 repair stations, fixed-base operators (FBOs), charter operators, and airlines. This integration aims to streamline maintenance operations, increase fleet uptime, and ensure greater transparency. Many organizations face challenges due to disconnected legacy systems, and by adopting EBIS products, Veryon seeks to modernize maintenance workflows with real-time analytics and centralized management tools.

EBIS for maintenance, often utilized by maintenance repair organizations (MROs), allows providers and service centers to operate more efficiently by seamlessly integrating with Veryon Tracking for real-time maintenance visibility. The Ground Support Equipment module further extends these capabilities across entire fleets, from aircraft to GSE assets, within one connected ecosystem.

This strategic move is part of Veryon’s broader plan to offer AI-driven solutions that simplify the complexities of maintenance, reduce operational costs, and improve visibility for operators and MROs globally. EBIS services are now available as licensed products within the Veryon portfolio, enhancing its product lineup with innovative digital tools.

Key industry stakeholders have emphasized the importance of addressing maintenance and ground handling asset management challenges through technological innovation. The acquisition highlights Veryon’s commitment to providing integrated, intelligent solutions that meet the evolving demands of the aviation sector.
