Vietjet has been awarded the title of "Asia’s Leading Airline Brand 2026" at the prestigious World Travel Awards held in the Maldives. This recognition underscores the airline’s dedication to providing outstanding services across its rapidly expanding network.
Building on a strong track record, Vietjet previously secured titles such as "Asia’s Leading Airline – Customer Experience" for three consecutive years, further establishing its reputation in the region. The airline’s CEO, Nguyen Thanh Son, highlighted ongoing growth strategies, including an increase in international routes and fleet acquisitions.
Expanding International Footprint
During the first half of 2026, Vietjet operated over 72,000 flights connecting 213 destinations worldwide. Notably, the airline is launching new routes between Hanoi and Almaty, as well as Hanoi and Prague, in October, with aims to boost its presence in Europe. The airline also plans to introduce a new Singapore–Nha Trang service in December 2026.
Furthermore, Vietjet has placed orders for over 600 Airbus and Boeing aircraft to support its long-term expansion goals. With a focus on diversifying its offerings and enhancing passenger experiences, Vietjet continues to strengthen its position as a leading carrier in Asia and beyond.
