Vietnam Airlines and SATS have entered into a strategic partnership agreement in Hanoi, aimed at strengthening their industry collaboration and logistics capabilities across Vietnam. Building upon an existing memorandum of understanding, this partnership emphasizes the development of a new cargo terminal and expanding operational cooperation. SATS, a recognized provider of ground handling and cargo services at major international airports including SIN, BKK, BLR, HKG, LHR, and CDG, will support Vietnam Airlines with enhanced operational services. Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines plans to extend partnership benefits in key markets, with both parties exploring cutting-edge logistics and operational efficiencies.

The CEO of Vietnam Airlines, Lê Hồng Hà, highlighted that the collaboration's primary goal is to elevate service quality, reduce costs, and bolster the airline's international competitiveness. Kerry Mok, President and CEO of SATS, emphasized their commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and building on more than three decades of partnership to sustain Vietnam’s expanding aviation industry. With both organizations beginning implementation immediately, the partnership aims to generate long-term benefits, foster technological advancements, and contribute to Vietnam’s aviation infrastructure development in alignment with global standards.
