The collective brand value of the country’s airlines has reached USD 1.4 billion, despite geopolitical tensions and market volatility in fuel prices.

Vietjet’s brand value notably increased by 117%, reaching USD 906 million, driven by its international route expansion and diversified revenue streams. Its new routes to Australia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Russia have helped boost passenger numbers and sales. Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines’ brand value rose 36% to USD 513 million, marking its debut at 49th position globally, aided by strategic restructuring and international route resumption.

Sector Outlook and Strategic Growth

Experts from Brand Finance highlight that this growth reflects a maturing industry aligned with rising global travel demands. Both airlines have strengthened their market positions through improved financial health and network expansion, allowing them to better compete internationally.

"The performance of Vietjet and Vietnam Airlines underscores a resilient and evolving sector, well-positioned to meet increasing international travel needs,"

said Alex Haigh, Managing Director Asia Pacific at Brand Finance.
