Vietnam's Civil Aviation Authority has issued a directive to ensure the safety of aviation operations and transport amid the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. The directive targets key aviation entities, including the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, Van Don Investment and Development JSC, and Sun Group’s airport authorities, instructing them to develop and execute safety plans.

Relevant agencies are required to develop and implement plans to assist passengers affected by flight schedule changes, cancellations, or route adjustments due to regional instability. They are also mandated to maintain order, security, and safety at airports, preparing for aircraft parking, ground operations, and overnight arrangements when necessary.

Ensuring Airport Safety and Passenger Support

Vietnamese aviation authorities emphasize the importance of prompt communication and reporting of any difficulties during implementation. This proactive approach aims to minimize disruptions and ensure passenger safety despite the geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

The measures demonstrate Vietnam's commitment to maintaining safe and secure air travel, even in volatile regional situations. Authorities continue monitoring developments and preparing contingency plans to support both airlines and travelers affected by international conflicts.
