Wizz Air has announced new route launches from London Luton Airport, taking advantage of recently acquired slots that became available after the leisure airline TUI shifted some of its flights to Gatwick. This strategic move enables Wizz to expand its flight network to several European destinations and Armenia starting mid-2026.
According to company officials, the airline plans to operate flights to Alicante, Lyon, Corfu, Faro, Turin, and Yerevan with an additional A321neo aircraft based at Luton. This will bring Wizz’s total aircraft at the airport to 15.

"Our focus on growth continues, having delivered two new aircraft and nearly 20 new routes from the UK during 2025, reinforcing Wizz Air UK’s position as Luton’s local carrier. Together with London Luton Airport, and Luton Council, we are shaping Luton as a strategic gateway for 2026 and beyond,”
