Abha International Airport faced disruption after Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia on Wednesday 7 October, alongside Riyadh. Flydubai has cancelled its scheduled Dubai-Abha services, and Air Arabia cancelled Sharjah-Abha flights on Wednesday and Thursday, with normal service expected to resume on Friday. Reports say attacks on Riyadh and Abha airports killed three people and injured 36 earlier in the week.
