Oman Air is the flag carrier of Oman, based in Muscat, and Etihad Airways is one of the UAE's two flag carriers, based in Abu Dhabi. Since April 2026, selected routes to the Indian Subcontinent, Cairo, Manila and a few others include up to 20 kg extra. Etihad's allowance depends on the route and fare. Loyalty and alliances
Oman Air joined oneworld on 30 June 2025, so Sindbad members can earn and use benefits across partner airlines, such as lounge access for eligible passengers.
