New Routes Bolster Florida Connectivity

October 2, 2026 — Breeze Airways commenced operations on five new routes from Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB) this week, expanding its presence in Florida. The new services, offering one-way fares from $79, were announced by the airline as part of a broader expansion in the state.

The routes began service between September 30 and October 4, according to statements from the airline. These additions are part of nearly two dozen new and returning Florida routes that Breeze Airways announced earlier in the year.

Vero Beach Regional Airport Gains New Connections

  • Atlantic City, New Jersey: Nonstop service initiated October 2, operating Mondays and Fridays. Fares begin at $89 one way.
  • Baltimore, Maryland: Nonstop service commenced October 1, available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Fares start at $79 one way.
  • Burlington, Vermont: One-stop, no-change-of-plane service began October 4, operating Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
  • Provo, Utah: One-stop, no-change-of-plane service started October 2, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
  • Trenton, New Jersey: Nonstop service launched September 30, operating Wednesdays and Saturdays. This schedule will transition to Thursdays and Sundays beginning January 7. Fares start at $89 one way.

Promotional fares are subject to change and availability. The $79 fare is exclusive to the Baltimore-Vero Beach route, while the $89 fare applies to the Atlantic City and Trenton services. Passengers can book flights via flybreeze.com or the Breeze Airways mobile application.

Wider Airline Expansion Across Florida

Breeze Airways' expansion aligns with a trend of increased service to Florida by multiple carriers. Other airlines that have recently announced or initiated new routes include:

  • Allegiant Air: Adding nine new nonstop routes starting in February.
  • Delta Air Lines: Recently introduced a new nonstop flight between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) near Fort Myers and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
  • Frontier Airlines: Adding new routes connecting Fort Lauderdale to Denver and Orlando, and Orlando to Kansas City, Missouri, beginning in November. Additional new routes will link Detroit with Los Angeles; Houston, Texas, with San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Orlando with Bogotá, Cartagena, and Medellín in Colombia.

These developments underscore a significant increase in air travel options for passengers flying to and from Florida, enhancing connectivity for both domestic and international destinations.
