Notably, Bristow Group announced the leasing of five Airbus H160 helicopters from Milestone Aviation, highlighting ongoing fleet expansion efforts.
The event also highlighted advancements in personal and urban air mobility, such as Honda’s plan to fly its first full-scale eVTOL prototype by early 2026. Industry leaders displayed latest rotorcraft models like the Bell 525, as well as the Bell 505 and 412EPX, emphasizing their versatility and adaptation for multiple civil and defense applications.
Research and development in hybrid-electric VTOL technology were also featured, with NASA supporting extended studies focused on electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
