United Airlines has announced four new or returning routes for 2027: a Chicago O'Hare to Bermuda service and three from San Francisco, to Charleston, Hartford and Oklahoma City. Separately, AirlineGeeks reports that United resumed daily San Francisco to Cincinnati flights on Monday 26 October 2026. The airline's United Airlines network is the focus of both stories.
According to The Points Guy, which credits Ishrion Aviation with first reporting the news, the routes are:
The Points Guy says United will use Boeing 737-family aircraft on the Bermuda, Charleston and Hartford routes, and an Embraer 175 regional jet to Oklahoma City.
The Bermuda flight will be United's second nonstop service to the island, which already has flights from Newark. The Points Guy notes that Hartford was last served from San Francisco in 2018, and Oklahoma City service ended in April 2020 in the early stages of the pandemic. Charleston is described as a new option for Bay Area travellers.
The outlet adds that the announcement follows new Canada routes revealed a week earlier as part of closer ties with Air Canada, including service to St John's, Newfoundland. Readers weighing the two carriers can see the United Airlines vs Air Canada comparison.
AirlineGeeks reports that the Cincinnati route resumed on Monday and will run daily with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. United announced the restart in August; according to Cirium Diio schedule data cited by AirlineGeeks, it last flew the route in 2020.
San Francisco becomes United's sixth nonstop destination from Cincinnati, after Chicago O'Hare, Denver, Houston, Washington Dulles and Newark. United said San Francisco has historically been one of the airport's largest underserved markets. Airport officials noted that travellers from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky can now reach United's transpacific network, including Tokyo, Osaka, Beijing, Seoul and Hong Kong, with one stop.
Fares, schedules and the exact days for the Bermuda flight were not given in the sources.
