Airline
Vietravel Airlines (Viet Nam Travel Airlines JSC) is a Vietnamese airline set up by the travel group Vietravel Holdings and registered in Huế. According to Wikipedia, it was founded in February 2019, received its operating licence in October 2020 and began commercial flights on 25 November 2021. It was the country's sixth airline at the time of licensing. It is not a member of any of the three major alliances.
Ownership has changed. In late 2024 the T&T Group became the major shareholder, reportedly holding up to 75%. In late 2025 Vietravel confirmed it planned to withdraw completely from the airline, and the same source notes speculation about AirAsia's involvement. Treat ownership as subject to change.
The operating bases are Hanoi (Noi Bai) and Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat). The Wikipedia destination list, dated September 2026, shows a small network:
The network has changed often, so check the airline's official website for current schedules.
As of September 2026, Wikipedia's fleet table shows five Airbus narrowbodies in service: one A320-200 (182 seats, former Spirit Airlines airframe) and four A321-200s (220 to 230 seats). The same table lists orders for 20 A220s and 30 A321neos. The article's infobox gives a fleet size of 3, so the figure is inconsistent and the table is flagged as needing a better source.
Cabin layout, seat pitch, meal policy, entertainment and Wi-Fi details could not be verified from the sources consulted. The seat counts above suggest high-density single-class layouts on the A321s, but this is an inference. Check the airline before booking.
