Global air travel continues to face severe disruptions following the escalation of conflict in Iran, which has led to the closing of major airports in Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi. These closures have stranded thousands of passengers and caused significant flight cancellations among international carriers.

Numerous airlines, including Aegean Airlines, Air Baltic, and Air Canada, have announced cancellations to affected destinations such as Tel Aviv and Dubai until further notice. Cathay Pacific has suspended passenger flights to Dubai and Riyadh until April 30. Many carriers have also reduced their networks or halted services entirely to improve safety amid the regional instability.

Major airlines like Delta, Emirates, and Etihad have adjusted their operations, with Delta pausing certain flights to Tel Aviv until August and others like Lufthansa suspending flights to several Middle Eastern cities through early April. Japan Airlines has canceled Tokyo-Doha routes through the end of March, with other airlines extending suspension periods to late March or early April.

The ongoing conflict has prompted a broad reassessment of flight routes and schedules. Travelers are urged to stay updated with airlines regarding any changes, as the situation remains fluid and further disruptions are possible.
