Emirates will replace a Boeing 777 with the Airbus A350 on one of its three daily Dubai–Mauritius services from 1 November 2026, according to AeroTime. The change brings the airline's newest Business Class to the route for the first time.
The A350 will operate flights EK709 and EK710 between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU). AeroTime reports that Emirates' other two daily flights to the island will continue to use Airbus A380s.
Local times given for the A350 flights are:
The A350 seats 298 passengers: 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy and 238 in Economy.
Business Class is laid out 1-2-1, so every passenger has direct aisle access. AeroTime lists fully flat seats, a 20-inch 4K screen, a personal mini-bar, wireless charging and Bulgari amenity kits, plus a self-service snack area at the rear of the cabin.
Premium Economy is arranged 2-3-2, with 19.5-inch-wide seats, footrests, six-way adjustable headrests and 13.3-inch screens. Passengers also receive priority boarding, a dedicated check-in area in Dubai and a baggage allowance of up to 35 kilograms.
Economy seats have adjustable leather headrests and 13.3-inch 4K touchscreens with Bluetooth connectivity.
Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates' Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, described the A350 as another important step in the airline's investment in Mauritius. He said that, alongside the two daily A380 services, it shows the island's importance in the network. AeroTime notes that all three daily Mauritius flights now offer Premium Economy, and that passengers can connect in Dubai to more than 70 destinations across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The source does not say whether fares will change or how long the A350 will stay on the route.
